Classes commence the first Monday of each month .This program is based primarily on 400 hours of in class education.
The full time program is 3 days per week for approximately 17 weeks in duration, 24 hours per week for 400 hours.
All students are expected to take the full course, to qualify for the Nail Technology Examination with The Cosmetology Industry Association of B.C. This course is one continuous program and has no breaks from the date of commencement.
*Please note: All students must be either **19 years old or have a grade 12 graduation certificate ** proof by birth certificate or BCID or Valid Drivers license.
***Grade 12 Graduation certificate must be presented.
****Please Note Final & CIABC Exam fees and exam supplies are not included in the program.
Program runs Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Nail Technician Course Objectives
At the end of the training each student will have a basic understanding of the subjects listed above and the ability to perform the tasks .
Conduct themselves in an ethical manner, with confidence while providing customer care.
Observe rules of personal hygiene and grooming and perform all tasks with an awareness of safety factors involved, demonstrate an awareness of different types of bacteria and apply the procedures for sanitation and sterilization, demonstrate an understanding of the histology ab physiology of skin, nails m sweat and oil glands.
Give manicure/ pedicure and recognize the presence of disorders and diseases of the nails.
Apply artificial nail products.
Employ safety precautions necessary in handling electrical equipment.
Be able to work independently and perform a complete consultation.
Be knowledgeable about Nail technician career options.
Apply fundamentals of career and small business management.
